This is going to be a big week in our house.
It started yesterday as we began prepping for Easter 2015. We got all gussied up in our Easter clothes and went to church.
We go to church every Sunday. It is truly the highlight of my week. Trev and I teach the Marriage and Family Relations class together and he also works with the Priests (young men ages 16-18) in our ward.
We truly love serving in these capacities!
I love going to church. I always come away from it feeling so uplifted, edified, and strengthened.
I get to be with others that are constantly trying to improve and be better disciples of Jesus Christ.
I love taking my kids and seeing their faith growing and understanding expanding.
I feel closer to my Savior and those I love when I go to church.
What a perfect way to start out each week...especially this one as we approach Easter and the reminder it is of the Atonement and Resurrection of our Savior.
It makes me better. Makes me want to be better.
But before we headed in, I had to snap a few pictures of my kids in their adorable Easter clothes.
Oh how I love these kids of mine.
Crazy to think that this will be our last Sunday together before Baby Eliza comes! Our last family picture as a family of 6!
So strange, yet so exciting! It's going to be a good week. :)

Easter Party with the Lightens and an Easter surprise
Each year, Geoff and Jill have a big Easter Egg Hunt.
Two ingredients make this party so grand.
Cousins and LOTS of candy-filled eggs! Plus a couple of "gold and silver" eggs which win you money and prizes.
Even the big grandkids are into it. Here is a little photo story of how the infamous hunt went this year.
Here is the eggs, all prepped and ready to be hunted in "the forest" behind grandma's house.
Waiting to begin is the hardest part for the kiddos. They have to find different ways to entertain themselves while everyone arrives.
Here is the first wave of cousins getting their instructions and getting ready to head out.
Some of the kids waited around too long to start hunting...you snooze you lose right? :)
Pickle found a coveted golden money egg. She was pretty please by that.
Abby got the most coveted egg of them all...one of the prize eggs!! She could hardly contain her excitement!
After the big hunt and the kids mouths were full with candy, we played this video to capture the true spirit of Easter at this fun event.
Hannah, our recently returned missionary introduced the video and shared her testimony of the gospel of Jesus Christ. She is one incredible girl! We all adore her. All those youngers sure look up to her as well.
It was a super fun night! After everyone left I decided to go ahead and get the pictures edited and posted since I was scheduled to be induced with Eliza two days after.
Good thing I did because about an hour after I shared the pictures on Facebook and went to sleep, my water broke and we were on a mad dash to the hospital to meet our little Liza!
She was the best little Easter gift ever. Nothing like a newborn to turn your thoughts right where they should be on Easter. The Savior and eternity.
