Playing at the Park

Have I mentioned that we have had rain lately? (See other posts). :)  So last Saturday was gorgeous and therefore, we hit up the park in Lehi. :)  We were not the only ones with that amazing idea...but we had a great time just the same. :)  Not to much to tell...just some time at the park. :)  Ordinary, but I like ordinary. :)
P.s. Get ready for picture overload... :)

A SUPER-quick trip to St. George

Spring this year has been a little sad.  It has brought tons of rain.  Which means lots of time inside.  Which means stir-crazy kids, and stir-crazy me. :)  So for Memorial Day we decided to take a quick trip down to St. George.  It was only 1 night, but we managed to pack in a lot of fun.  We went down with Trev's two older brothers (Rich and Dan) and their families.  I forget how fun it is to travel with family.  My kids were in HEAVEN being around all their cousins!  It was so great!  Plus the little girls stayed at Gma & Gpa's.  It was so nice to get some time with just M&J.
Here is what we did:
Drove down on Sunday
Went do Dinner at Outback
Put the kids in bed and the adults played Settlers of Catan.
Slept in, then got up and went running.
M&J rode their scooters as we ran...they went the full 6 miles!
Came back to the hotel, ate waffles, then swam.
Got ready, and headed to Pineview Reservoir to meet up with more peeps!
Hung out on the beach, ate popsicles (compliments of Uncle Rich and Aunt Lisa).
Drove to Kolob Canyon in Zion's National Park.
Hiked with the kids and Rich's family.
Drove home.
So, so fun.

Here are the pics to prove it (didn't get a lot of first, too much relaxing. :) )

Favorite parts of the trip:  Listening to Morgan talk to Jake on speakerphone.  Beating the other Lightens in Settlers.  Running as a family.  Sitting in the hot tub after a nice run.  Feeling warm sand on my feet.  Spotting a bald eagle in flight through Kolob Canyon.  Seeing Kolob Canyon.  Spending time with family.  Immediate and extended.  Can't wait to do it again next year.  Or sooner. :)
