My kids LOVE their school! I think it may have something to do with their sweet teachers and all the fun activities elementary school brings. First, they always do a big celebration for the 100th Day of School. There are fun events, crafts, and even treats. I wonder if they think this is an official holiday?
Here is how Jake looked when he came home from his 100th day...
He was sure decked out. :)
Next was Morgan's CEO Week. In her class, the week of your birthday you get to be the class CEO. You get special privileges, you are sent on "important" tasks for the teacher, you get to bring in a Poster all about yourself to be kept on display all week long, you get to bring one of your favorite things to share with the class each day, and you even get your parent to come in and read your favorite book to the entire class! Needless to say, it's kind of a big deal. You are kind of a big deal. :) I love how Morgan's teacher makes each child feel so special...especially on their birthday.
Here is Morgan preparing her poster...the other kids wanted to create as well so the girls colored and Jake made a ramp for the tiny skateboard he received at his friend, Carson's, birthday party the day before. :)
Like I said, they love their school...and so do Trev and I.
