Now that I have fully documented mine and Trev's Anniversary trip to Northern Cali...I figured it might be high time to document our 2014 Family Vacation to Southern Cali. :)
We sure love California! :)
With Baby Peanut due any day now, I have had to slow down and sit a lot more lately. Slowing down is always hard for me to do, but I have loved the opportunity it has given me to blog a little bit.
Other than Instagram, it is the only way I am currently recording our family's precious memories. So this has been a true blessing in disguise to be moving a little slower these days. :)
On to the reminiscing...
Every year we take a family vacation somewhere. It usually happens in the summer when the kids are out of school and the weather is hot.
But 2014 was different. It was such a whirlwind year for our family. In June, Trev left his company and started a new one. In August, we moved and found out Baby Peanut was on her way. With all the big changes and adjustments, before we knew it the summer was over. The kids were in their new schools and we were trying to settle in to the new normal for our family.
After the dust had settled a bit we decided it was definitely time for a getaway. Fall Break was approaching and the weather was probably still going to be great in Southern California, so we started planning and surprised the kids with a trip to the beach for the week!
To say they were excited would be a massive understatement. We were all excited! Sun, swimming, relaxing, amusement parks - who wouldn't be excited about that?
Here is a picture story of our the time we spent hanging around the Marriott Newport Beach resort and enjoying lazy days on various beaches.
Have I mentioned we LOVE Cali?
Uhhh...now I want to hop in the car and go back!
